Daily Program Schedule 

All activities are conducted in both English and Spanish.

8:30 AM-12:30 PM Half-Day

8:30 AM-3:00 PM Full Day

3:15 PM-4:00 PM Late Day Program

8:30 AM: Morning Arrival Time                             

8:30-9:00 AM: Breakfast Time*** Children clean up their tables and wash their dishes.

9:00-11:30 AM: Morning work period. The child works with lessons from the four Montessori areas and/or a new lesson is presented to the child individually. The Montessori program is divided into four main areas:    Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, and Mathematics.  Geography, music, literature, biology, astronomy, and introduction to science are additional areas of knowledge presented to the child.

11:30-12:00 PM: Circle Time: ** Calendar, reading, music, introduction to new themes activities*, courtesy and manners lessons, and additional areas of knowledge presented to the child. ****

12:00-12:30 PM: Lunch Time. Children clean up their tables and wash their dishes.

12:30 PM: Pick-up of half-day schedule

12:30-1:15 PM: Outdoor Play Time (Weather permitting)

1:15-2:45 PM: Afternoon work period. This is the same as the morning work period. Also, nappers take a nap. 

2:45-3:00 PM: Clean-up time. Work and materials are put away and each child cleans her/his workspace.  Dismissal circle. 

3:00 PM: Pick-up for full-day schedule.

3:00 – 4:00 PM: Late Day Program and Snack (provided by parents) Time 

** Birthdays are celebrated during this time.

*** The Breakfast bar is open for children to help themselves. 

**** The extra curricular activities such as soccer and art will be scheduled during this time.
